Hacking DSi exclusive doesn't work on r4 running on DSi

I tried to play system FLAW on r4 I got this message on my DSi

Using r4 dual core 2016 on dsi with sandisk 16gb class 10

R4 and most other flashcarts only work in "DS" mode. Essentially, it detects it as a DS flashcart and runs it as a DS would, or else it would break a lot of older DS games if it tried to run them in DSi mode. There's a flashcart or two (I think Cyclo put out one) that work for DSi, but I don't know if they can load DSi ROMs.

No, it loads up as a regular DS game, no enhanced features or anything.
