Geometry Wars Galaxies for the Wii just came out, and apparently it has a feature where you can download Geometry Wars Retro Evolved (obviously toned-down graphically) onto the DS through DS Download Play.

Seeing that demos are downloaded the same way, would it not be possible to turn this into an NDS that we could run anytime we wanted so that we won't have to leave our DS on if we go somewhere?

To do that you hace to dump the demo.

    That must be hard.

Pretty sure that most demos were only dumped because the DS Download Station is a regular DS game card and DS, so they just dumped the card and extracted the .nds demo ROMs.

Im sure that somebody could dump the DS's ram while it is storing the demo.

    I could be possible.
You would have to be an experienced hacker to pull it off.

Originally the demos found at DS Download stations were "made" by the homebrew/hacking community by doing several wifi packet captures with a laptop while the demo was being sent, (The OP said that in his post)
In theory this could be done for the Geo Wars demo, but you'd have to find someone who knows how to assembly a .nds executable out of wifi packet capture data.
