Hacking DS Profile Brick Help

I think I have bricked a 3ds xl running 4.4. All I did was remove 2.0b2 from the system by installing ROP Loader which I shouldn't have. Then I proceeded to factory reset and this is what it shows. Lol.

The 3ds still works but it wont launch the DS Profile hack no matter what. Maybe if I update to 4.5 with cartridge then it might work. Don't think I have a backup.

Your 3DS isn't bricked, just re-install the exploit using the installer on the Blue Card, and then try again.

Another thing you can try if the above doesn't work.
It will sanitize your profile strings before reinstalling profile hack:

Thanks, re-installation worked with GW 1.0 and a game to update to 4.5. So now it is running 4.5 but if I run the above it wont hurt. So I will stick to homebrew. Is there any video on how to compile?

I don't think so but its not really necessary to have a video for something this simple.
1. download and install gnu arm embedded https://launchpad.net/gcc-arm-embed...c-arm-none-eabi-4_8-2013q4-20131204-win32.exe
2. unzip the attached file here and double click build.bat: http://gbatemp.net/threads/homebrew-development.360646/page-5#post-4890560

You could also just copy the pre-compiled launcher.dat to your sd and run it if you just want to try homebrew out.
