meh, that's just being lazy, i mean, it's just copying a file to the SD card to update (and don't get me started about the mSD for N3DSs, you can easily use a ftp software to transfer the file without having to remove the SD card)

Always is good to have an auto updater for those people who doesn't want to (or can't) use ftp o sd transfer every time a new commit is added but I don't think it can be useful in the stable relase.

For some reason my ftp server decided it didn't want to work early for some reason.

I'm not sure if it's safe to say this yet or not, however I'm helping Alerdy work on an updater that will be implemented directly into TWLoader and will feature changelogs and a "Stable" and "Fresh" channel. This link will soon be deprecated and redirect to the new link.

Idk but I think is something wrong with your build. Look mine, the size is different and works for the games I tried. In your build the games don't work.... just compiled the latest commit 799f82a

My script is not broken, I just manually run it myself at the current moment and I am not always awake to do so. I'm working on setting up webhooks with @ahezard and my host will be the official pre-built download location with an automatic buildbot that runs every time a new commit is made.

what is rebootstrap?

ReBootstrap will be the official bootstrap-dldi.nds updater tool implemented into TWLoader, and is being created by @Alerdy.

Yeah that would be cool if it could update all the files for TWLauncher and install both the cia files.

Sadly that isn't its current purpose, given the name "ReBootstrap" as in it reinstalls bootstrap-dldi.nds with the latest version.

I understand this but if it's based on the Luna updater it wouldn't be too hard to expand it eventually since that tool already installs cias as will as regular file downloads to the SD card.

thats what the current explosion of thsi thread's about, we have a verry Alpha level software that is attempting (will be when released and improved_ to do just that.

since that tool already installs cias

LumaUpdater doesn't install cias, it just updates your arm9loaderhax.bin on SD.

And even then, don't expect it to be anywhere near perfect, just usable for some games.

and for a long time flashcarts will be better than this method it's going to take alot of time for this to be perfected as much as it can be. IE. you want perfect compatability, go grab an R4i Gold, AK2i w/ AKIO or DSTwo
