The anime was really popular, so I guess many otome fans here will enjoy this one!

(yeah, I know, only those who speak Japanese, but it's voiced, so we might understand bits of it

Gambia, The
looks like a game for girls, at least the trailer does. I can't understand how this cheesy stuff can be interesting for anyone in the west.

I know a lot of guys who love the anime, so guys might enjoy this game too.

If it's like the first game, it's not very otome's dating sim type because you can't ditch the main guy. (I'd tried that so many times. At most you can date other guys in the game but you can't really ditch Kazehaya. I mean he's a nice guy but for an otome game, it's not much fun when you can't get alternate endings with other guys.

Anyway, the first game is pretty fun. (If you watch the anime, you can guess what's going on the in the game even if you don't know Japanese.

By the way, for R4 users, you might need to download some new stuff to be able to play this. (My current Wood doesn't work. The game works on YSMenu with the new update though.)

her eyes... they scare me

back on topic, do these date-sim games uses the same engine? if tha answer is positive and other similar games have already been translated, 1/3 of the translation work (identifying things, making/using tools, finding the script, etc) is already done. now all you need is someone with lots of free time and fluent japanese

Unfortunately, the answer is no. Different games use different engines. At most, some games from the same company might use the same format, but this game is quite different from other otome or visual novel games that have been translated.

Hacking it isn't impossible, but there will be a lot of issues that the hacker has to take care of. For one, the font spacing. I haven't tried this one but I think it used pretty much the same format as the first game, so the issue in the first game probably remains.

Here's the part where we were discussing about hacking the first game.
