OMFG! Been waiting for this so damn much. Who needs that new stupid Zelda game when you've got THIS?!
I was actually waiting for this but I'm left disappointed as usual. A buggy platformer reminiscent of the 90s platformers like Tom & Jerry on the SNES. For fans of the series, this will be an okay game but for others, shovelware.
A couple of things to note. The Horrid Henry theme is missing (I haven't heard it yet after finishing the first level). There is a very annoying looping MIDI-like tune that loops over forever while you play which makes the game even less bearable. The double jumping is frustrating a little and the enemies are uninspiring. The only good thing is that there are voiceovers from the TV series but this isn't enough to make a good game.
"reminiscent of the 90s platformers" had me so excited - I was going to try it, even if it is horrid henry. Then you had to spoil it with "like Tom & Jerry on the SNES".
why do henries have to be orange haired and so grumpy?
they make it worse by adding horrid
Warning: Spoilers inside!
definitely snes like and will try cuz it looks okay
i loved the books as a kid will check out
Its Horrid Henry
Man this reminds me so much about my childhood.
All these people saying it reminds them of childhood, and I thought horrid henry was a recent thing...
EDIT: According to wikipaedo it is a recent thing - first book in 1994 but the majority of them released in-between 2001-2006. I keep forgetting gbatemp is mostly little kids. :>
Does this game have anything to do with Thierry Henry ?
Nope, it's just some game, based on a book.
How about Thierry Mugler?
