I heard this is Spectrobes 2 japanese version so, if you've played the english one it's the same. I can't confirm though

u have to use mic?? :S

Yes, you have to use the mic to "awaken" spectrobes from their fossil form.

And yes, this is Spectrobes Beyond the Portals which was released last year in English. No reason to get this unless you'd rather have the game in Japanese.

The first Spectrobes wasn't very good, but the second one (this one) was a massive improvement.
