Ugh... Usually Italian Translations aren't good. I'm going to see if the game is translated in a good way, if not i'll continue to play the English Version.

Also, for those who enjoy this game - there's a sequel being released in like two weeks (in the USA)..
You've got that to look forward to.

It's cool, but very hard and in my oppinion VERY repetive... you can only save in the city (yes, singular) and you dig deeper and deeper into the ground in mazes, and have to go back up to save and buy new shit...

Really? I thought you could save at the Geomagnetic fields, too.

Not to mention using them to teleport between stratums.

Seeing this on the front page scared the crap out of me. Kind of like a twinge of excitement and disbelief.

I really want the second one.

Yeah, the U.S. Boxart looks like it was ripped off an old school PC rpg or something. Would be entirely dull if it were not for the anime style people in the lower right.

Another to comment here on the nicer choice of boxart. I gave up expecting an EUR release and I forked out the cash for an USA. Its not that I needed the other languages But you try finding a copy of the game before the EUR release on the net ( I don't check ebay don't hit me up on that.)

It's a good game, but pretty unbalanced. After some you descend levels, unless you've leveled up like a madman, you're not going anywhere as the monsters will crush you. And leveling up is UBER-SLOW. What a pity.

I'll wait for the second one

Well, DUH! It's not a final fantasy clone where all you need to do is hit "fight" for thirty minutes until you got enough XP to kill anything that moves. You actually have to think about your characters, what skills they need, what skills you will do without;

TL;DR : IT'S NOT FOR YOU YOUNG FUCKERS!

Well, i started to play the game yesterday. The italian translation isn't bad. Well, not a optimal translation, but a good one. The jobs are good translated, ans also the skills names and the text, but i don't like the monster names.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol

So that version is semi rare
