Dreamcast custom game cover art

Thank you in advance for any and all help that is provided,

I am trying to find an app or method that lets me edit a DC game image to add cover art. For example, I don't always get cover art for some games when I scan a directory for games using a front-end scan feature. I want to edit these files. I found an app that lets me extract GDI, but I didn't find an art folder or any art to add or edit. CDI or CHD or GDI, whatever format I can edit I am good with that. Thank you.

Are you using a front end just look for the box art and download it.

Yes, I am using a front end, but that is where I am coming across, not getting all box art. So, I figured if I edited the file itself, then I wouldn't have the missing box art by default.
