Dream of your destined one ?

Well hi,
I just saw the Trailer from "Kimi no na wa" and remembered that except for the possibly happy end ? I had something similiar years ago which made me think if this might be "common".

Several years ago when I was all alone without my gf I dreamt about another girl that I have never seen before, I met her and both of us fall in love with each other.
Somehow even though it was just a dream probably not taking more than 1-2 hours, it felt like we were together at least a year.
When I woke up and it cleared up to me that it was just a dream tears came flowing out of my eyes and I was really sad.
Actually I even remembered her Name and the Place she was supposed to live (at least the towns name) but upon searching for her online of course I could not find her.

Probably not as good as in the Movie where both are real ... I guess it was only my brain playing a joke with me BUT it was nice as long as it lasted ^^V


So yeah anyone here having similiar experience ?

I can't be the only one if there are already people making movies about this I guess.

It's possible yes.
I know I have had it lots of times.
Every time I had done some, I either wouldn't sleep for x amount of days or wouldn't dream at all.
