Yes, here's the solution:
Thanks!!!

About the distance between the screens. There is the option to increase the screen gap, but in the game Contra 4 there is still only a little distance to be perfect. It has the option to adjust the screens manually, but I don't think I can get the exact proportions right lmao.

You can edit the game's configuration file manually; it’s a matter of trial and error, but it can be done—and the same applies to the game *Yoshi's Island DS*.

Thank you very much, dear Nagaa! The emulator performs amazingly well!

I only have one request: would it be possible for standard forwarders that pass the ROM to the emulator to work the same way they currently do with your Dolphin port and with RetroArch?

I’m asking because I’ve created several forwarders using https://nsp-forwarder.n8.io/, but when I launch them, instead of booting directly into the selected game, as they do with Dolphin, DrasticDS_nx opens the game selection screen.

If DrasticDS_nx could accept the ROM path directly through the forwarder arguments/argv, that would make these standard forwarders work perfectly.

Many thanks in advance!

Best regards

Did you do that in this game? What values did you use?

This emulator was perfect. Better than melonds after the tip he gave. The 3d models in the games were very clean and defined. The only thing missing is retro achievement support for the experience to be complete.

Feature request: Could you please add a frame/mask overlay feature, like the real‑DS‑bezel effect shown in my screenshot.

Detailed requirements:
1. Add bezel/mask overlay, render the NDS shell border around top & bottom screens, just like the attached picture.
2. For both top screen and bottom screen, support independent X‑axis / Y‑axis offset adjustment, move screen position freely.
3. Scale setting: use integer‑based multiplier, adjustable in **0.1 step increments** for each screen separately.
4. All layout parameters (offset X/Y, scale factor, mask toggle) should be savable per‑game profile.

This is very useful for TV mode, so I can precisely place two DS screens and wrap them inside DS‑style bezel.
Thank you very much for your great work on this Switch port!

Also, does anyone have a full pack with all or most cover images? I don't connect my emummc to the internet.
@Nagaa Is it possible to add an option to show the game icons like in MelonDS instead of downloading covers?

I'm sorry for the double post but I noticed some wrong graphics while playing Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey.
This is how the menu looks without High Res 3D which is off by default:

This is how it looks with Hi Res 3D on which KINDA fixes it but not completely:

But it makes EVERY other text look bad:

So @Nagaa I humbly ask if its possible to add an option to display DS icons instead of covers in the launche AND see what can be done regarding this problem with this game which I can assume it's pretty possible it's happening in many others because I'm really liking this emulator so far and I've encountered just these two issues.

change filter.

Mate that was like the first thing I tried and it doesn't really fix anything, it only applies a... well, a filter on top of the wrong looking text. Tried both filters and shaders.
Try with NVK / OpenGL, if both have the same issue it's probably an issue with Drastic itself on this game, would need to test on android to be sure

Will do, I'll edit this post with the results later or or just make a new if someone else posts.
Also thank you for the icon option :D

Edit: Sadly it did nothing. Then this must be something with Drastic itself regarding the game.

Because DrasticDS doesn't sup
@Nagaa Huge thanks for another new update! Really appreciate all your hard work on this DrasticDS Switch port. Performance keeps getting better and better, keep up the awesome work!

Could you please add an option to adjust the top‑screen and bottom‑screen window size with fixed‑ratio scaling in 0.1 increment steps? It would be really helpful for fine‑tuning the layout.
port it ?

tnx. aside from that , idk anymore if someone making shaders for drastic. but is it nice if we are allowed to put more shaders, if someone decided to make them.

anyway one of high demanding games on ds is working perfectly on this emulator compared to melonds. yeah i can say that most the function from melonds is already here with extra options and qol.

golden sun: dark dawn (need cpu oc 1326mhz)

The fact that we can now play Golden Sun DD perfectly on the Switch is brilliant! I guess it is time for me to start playing the 3 Golden Sun games from 1 until Dark Dawn,
Thanks for the feedback

if not filter, then turn off hi-res. and think you don't need hi-res on smt: strange journey.
