Dragon Quest IV (J) Translation PAtch?

    I was hoping someone (or some people) might be able to do some menu/item/spell translation patch for this game. [​IMG]

    I do have to say i wouldnt mind an english version of this given that i played the nes version way back in the day and loved it.

    To be honest I think it would be more advantageous to complete the translations that are already underway. I mean, it would be nice to see, but it seems hard enough as it is to get translation projects up and running.

    Aye, all his little thing does is the exact same thing as what you can get with a CB/AR through a code, there are important conversations that give an error in the chat box instead of the message and such.

    Personally it wouldnt be that hard to work on this project most likely because there is already a fair bit of english in it, you just need to finish off what isnt english.

    After playing a ways into the game i would have to say it does actually need more than just the not translated parts to be translated. Id say about half of the current dialog's would need to be completely re-done because several spots are bad engrish, and some are meant to be read in an accent but they are poorly implemented so the stuff can be a bit cumbersome to read because you got to stop every few words and read over one word several times to figure out what it is.
