Homebrew doom

Do the doom wad files have to be named something specific?
The files from the original games? Yes, they need to use the original names. Pwads used for mods need to use different names.
Here are the original names. The menu at startup will only show the games that finds. For CIA the files need to be in /3ds/prboom3ds/

I tried out the newest 0.5 version.
It goes beyond the freezing point from the previous 0.4 version, so that's a plus :P

However, I ended up getting yet another freeze at the end of E1M2 as well.

I got it when you flip the switch to enter the last two rooms before the end of the level.
Something similar happened, when you get into the elevator which pulls you down to a room with enemies and 3 Imps on an upper level, I shot my shotgun and then froze for no particular reason.

I Think that freeze has been present since many releases ago. I got it too when I flipped the switch to enter the last two rooms before the end of the level.
 
I have the wad's named correctly but when i start the cia, it shows a list with no names and when i press a it states "starting freedoom2.wad identifyversion: IWAD not found identifyversion: IWAD not found. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nevermind, i got it, i had an old version of the homebrew that was called prboom, i renamed to prboom3ds and now it works.

So far I have only tried doom, and the nipple does work, just needs to be mapped in options

I do not think that any homebrew supports the circlepad pro. If you know of an example then feel free to point it out.
 
I have no examples, just asking if anyone else knows a way, i cant see where it would be impossible to do this though.

The default banner and icon gave the usual homebrew-like sound when there's no specific sound assigned when starting the app, those ones have proper Doom sounds and graphics.
As for source, what exactly do you mean?
Both banner.bin and icon.png are not code themselves but rather sound and graphics only, unless I'm missing something.
