Actually, you can look up/down in ZDoom with software rendering. You are confusing the engines.
PrBoom by itself is ZDoom I believe.
The engine which has the option to look up/down is GZDoom, and that's entirely different.

There are multiple ports of prboom for the 3ds. You are likely not using the version specified in this thread - see the first post for links. This version has supported music since 2014.Is there a way to get the music ?
I hear soundeffects yes but no music. Do I have to put music manually? There are multiple ports of prboom for the 3ds. You are likely not using the version specified in this thread - see the first post for links. This version has supported music since 2014.
It does require that you run dspdump, but if you hear sound effects then you are all set.
The all set was in regards to dspdump. If you hear sound effects and no music then you are not using this version of prboom3ds.i´

So what can I do?The all set was in regards to dspdump. If you hear sound effects and no music then you are not using this version of prboom3ds.
As I said - go to the first post of this thread and download this version of prboom3ds.So what can I do?
I'm probably just being dumb but how do I get sound and music on the n3ds .cia?

I guess you should use this to dump DSP. Run it once, follow the inatructions and try running Doom again.
I'm hoping someone will place in the work to make mods usable... like with ctrQuake by MasterFeizzNo because this is a port of prboom. Brutal Doom is a completely different source port.
I dont think the 3DS or even N3DS could run Brutal Doom. Would be nice thoughcan I use mods like brutal doom on my n3ds with this?
I thought brutal doom was just a simple enhanced gore patch with new features... I mean the raspberry pi 3 can run brutal doom and quake 3 arena just fine... and I would be shocked if my n3ds is weaker than a raspberry pi 3... if it was, we could have someone try to develop 3ds emulaton on the piI dont think the 3DS or even N3DS could run Brutal Doom. Your 3ds is indeed weaker iirc.I thought brutal doom was just a simple enhanced gore patch with new features... @Smoker1 I thought your sig about your systems were the requirements... I guess that's what I get for running gbatemp on chrome...
Brutal doom I believe requires the Zandronum or GZDoom, both of which are forks of ZDoom. The N3DS is powerful enough to run them, but they're a lot harder to port. I tried porting ZDoom but found it too difficult.can I use mods like brutal doom on my n3ds with this?
There is a newer version you can try - link in the first post. However, the "not found" error indicates some problem with your wad files. Can anyone tell me why whenever I choose a wad file to load and start the game it just freezes but the music still plays
THats weird because I have the latest version and they used to work fine last yearThere is a newer version you can try - link in the first post. However, the "not found" error indicates some problem with your wad files.
