I updated with the file that czw (i think thats the user) on this board put up the links for.  I updated last night from 27e to 29e in NDS mode no problems.

I hope that virus updates are not surfacing now ;_;
Meh, probably just bad luck with flashing, so many reports of successful flashes and a few unsuccessful....

EDIT | EXAMPLE: I accidenatly quoted Shinji's post when I meant to quote yours, the quote button was obviously for his post, not yours.

I mean to quote your post not his, and I thought you were talking to me how about you just get lost because your pissing me the f**k off. Go make your own topic and stop flaming mines. Loser.

I updated E29 firmware on my M3 Lite with no problems.
Try to insert M3 without media card and notice if M3 returns warning screen about no media card detected. Just for sure it´s not a media card issue.

I inserted my M3 Lite without microsd card, and the ds says there isn't any gba flashcard inserted. So my M3 Lite is broken.

I think:

1) It's defective.
2) There is a bad contact between the pcboard and the gba slot, in this case change cases and try again.
3) You updated the firmware with the wrong version (one for CF) and bricked it.....I think I saw someone else doing the same thing.

Probably it's the first point, because I was playing before I update the flashcard, and the firmware was SD English, the same language of my flashcard M3 Lite microsd. Or perhaps it's something like certain flashcards that have differente components. Supercard team had a mistake with a firmware and certain chips of their flashcards.

like I said earlier, it worked before you updated so I'm inclined to think somehow something went wrong on the update....aka wrong firmware upgrade.

We'll I've finally just grew the balls to upgrade the thing (Just got it today btw) and it seemed to work fine in GBA mode.

I think that those with bricks updated it with the CF version. make sure it says SD in the update, meaning superdisc card.

Beh, I still have e20 firmware, and I am not planning on updating anytime soon (I got no reason too, since all games that are coming out still work on e20 firmware, but need updated GM)

Superdisc card!? is that supposed to be a joke or am I missing something!

SD stands for "Secure Digital", it is the format of memory card. Just as CF refers to "Compact Flash" and not Card Fallopian

Lol @ SuperDisc Card.

Anyway, no problems upgrading to e29 here either.
Hope everything works out for everyone, a day not DS'd is a day not spent well

I seriously havn't heard anyone successfully update their M3 Lite to v29, and that's bad. Something in the v29 update is messed up, leaving it to hang on your ds, when you cut it off, your M3's firmware is partcially flashed, leaving it bricked, and not having the ability to reflash it.

I've also heard alot, that v28 updates hangs, but is safe to turn off, because it actully fully writes to the cartridge before it hangs.

So hey M3 team, what's going on with your updates?Â

I have the same problem as you. I have returned the m3 lite back to Divineo.com and got another replacement. The same problem occurs after I update to v29 (downloaded from m3adapter.com). Right now, I can't even apply any version of firmware to it. It will pop out a message saying that

"Please use English version update file for this card. Update file language version error!"

When I tried update firmware v29 in NDS mode (Passcard 3 insert), after passed the passcard screen, the black screen occurs. (Firmware v29 - updagcsd.e29)

So does it means my replacement m3lite is bricked again???

Btw, my microSD is Sandisk 1GB (Tried Format FAT, FAT32) still the same... nothing works.
