We already know that three GBC game doesn't work for GBA support, but Shantae does have debug code but LOZ: Age/Season doesn't have it. I am wonder if they do have for homebrew or not that can use setting for only LOZ Age/Season in any region you have 3DS. Only real LOZ Age/Season or can use rom hack thingy like you don't need download from E-Shop. Does this have homebrew or not? I am curious about that. If it not, then only one option I have to. Buy it from game store or order online to play GBA.

please try to ask your question again.
do you want to get the gba features included in oracle of seasons and ages (which is literally just a room with a ring and one of those blue seeds)?

I like your argument. Bump
Heh. Thank you.

Yes I do. Shantae already have debug mode to use GBA feature. But Season/Age don't have debug code. So I wonder if there is possibility to use homebrew connect to use setting for Age/Season open up GBA feature.

Ill test it later. This also ties into something extremely useless. The 3ds still has the ds cpu, and the ds cpu still has the gba cpu, hence gba vc games. Could we go back farther with native gbc and gb games? I know emulation and injection works so much better but it would be funny to actually do.

EDIT: Gameyob fixes this issue. I tested shantae it said gba enhanced.

No idea about shantae, but the gbc emulator gameyob does support gba mode for the oracle games as far as I know.
I know that, but I meant from E-Shop that it doesn't have gba enhance when you bought Shantae, Age, and Season. But funny is.... When first time 3ds come out and somehow they does have GBA game for limit time. I forgot what is name of it. But when it come out some GBC game with GBA enhance, it won't support. What about Pokemon Yellow, Red, and Blue? They are allow to use trade with people on wifi even can use Pokemon Bank.

I do know about GameYob on my old ds but I dont have it with me anymore. I do have 3ds with me but I didnt use homebrew much lately because of update. I heard browserhax is still work. But I want to know if there is any possibility to make homebrew for Age/Season for use GBA enhance even Shantae without use debug code.

the thing is, red blue and yellow had their code and the emulation code tinkered with to allow wifi. pokebank just accesses the save so thats not really anything to do with it.

there is no way to enable gba mode for the eshop releases of the oracle games. its just not enabled and not part of the emulator nintendo uses.
really though, you're not losing anything.

the gba emulator is a different one from the gbc one of course, and i dont believe it is compatible with gbc games at all.

gameyob has been ported to the 3ds and works almost as good as it did on the ds. though if you updated your 3ds, thats not helping you i'd guess

i assumed you had homebrew access, since you asked for a homebrew solution. currently, browserhax is dead for the latest firmware (10.7.0.32) and the only way to access homebrew is using a game like OOT, cubic ninja and powersave to inject a hax savegame.

What?! Man i dont have all three of them. You know what? I dont trust any of them that you mention 3 of them. Because more update they get, more chance fo OOThax, Cubic Ninjahax, and Powersavehax will lock down for good. First, Smashhax, then youtubehax, and now browserhax. I bet one of them will close down for good. If three of them are close down for good, then how you can get in 3ds homebrew once again?

powersavehax isnt a thing. powersave is a gadget to inject savefiles into actual games used for cheating. you need it to inject a special savestate into oot to trigger homebrew.
those game exploits cant truly be patched anymore. as long as we update the payloads (meaning update the hack savestate) you have homebrew.

Well I will not use OOThax or CNhax because I dont trust those two while Nintendo keep update for 3ds. Only I can do is buy real one to use my real gba or buy 3ds flashcart for use ds game and emulator.

What about PSP for gbc emulator? I am using MasterBoy.
I don't remember very well how GBC emulation worked on PSP. Unfortunately my PSP is not with me since a long time ago.
But as far as I remember, the PSP was the best emulation machine ever. (almost)
So I suppose it would work better than great there.

Aw bummer. Yes it does. I wonder if it work for gba enhance. I hope MasterBoy does work. If not then I need to find it.

Edit: Awesome! MasterBoy does have gba enhance! Tell you the truth, I kinda dont like controller on 3ds because it little hard for me when I use d-pad. I usually normal d-pad like snes, nes, blah blah, you know what I meant is easy to use. Include select and start button kinda hard. But Y button are same as Select button. Why not X button as Start button? That will be easy. I wish Nintendo will notice it.

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii

At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

    not really

RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?

although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced

    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament

maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
