i mean to have 4 player split screen on one wii... and maybe net play or do you think it's too hard for devlopers or something like that...

In theory this is possible but there are two problems/questions:
    • Does the Wii have enough power to emulate more than one GBA game (important for split screen)
    • Is the Wifi bandwidth of the wii enough for net play?
If the Wii doesn't have enough power or bandwitdh it makes no sense to start developing these features.

...don't know and don't care...it'd be nice to have a gba emulator that emulates just 1 gba perfectly first.

Split screening would mean that the wii would have to run multiple instances of the emulator.

I think it's possible to create, though. You should suggest it.

Linking over the controller port using the GameCube to GBA cable would get around that, but that of course assumes you have a legitimate GBA game or backup to play on real hardware. [IMG]

I bet he is not going to do it.. because running one instance of GBA is already a pain for the Wii and most games runs with frameskipping

first someone would need to REALLY optimize VBA for the Wii hardware, then you can eventually think in emulating split screens, if ever possible

GBA link emulation through netwply is probably the only viable solution but again, implementing smooth and playable netplay in emulators shoul be extremely difficult
