The majority of people who really do want an emunand will take the time to vote yes in this poll. Most people who don’t want it and/or couldn’t give a shit about it probably won’t bother to come into the thread and vote.

To get an accurate vote you would have to force every user on the site to vote. Therefore these results will always be skewed.
Again, that is not how psychology works. If it did then everybody could become one

Absolutely want emunand. I'm a rare person with a 400gb SD though. I understand will suck for some to lose 32gb of space. But I have purchased games and intend to purchase more that I want to play online and do homebrewey things on a separate always offline airplane moded emunand. :( I don't wanna buy another switch tablet. Please give me emunand!!!

What does that have to do with what i posted? I never mentioned psychology....
You were basicly saying how people behave in general and why this can't be trusted so yeah it has everything to do with psychology hence why I said '' that is not how psychology works, if it did then everybody could be a psychologist''

Even if so, it still shows that a lot of people do want it, so devs who are thinking of working on it shouldn't listen to the few loudmouths telling them not to bother.

My hope is about some important dev be brave and do a emunand. For me... thats be biggest thing. But i doubt it right now.... make a emunand have a lot of wrk? Which time requiered dev this?

I don't think a hundred or so is a lot of people in the grand scheme of things. But anyway, the results of this poll are moot it's whether or not any dev is interested in implementing it that counts.

The "no" votes come from users who are already banned or suspect they will be banned. I personally voted no because I'm going to get banned. Selfish huh, not thinking about other people who want to potentially be safe.

As of now, the people who want it are already more than double the amount of the people who don't.
Learn a bit about statistics, sample size, extrapolation, and see why you're so wrong.

I personally want it for a non RCM warmboot, which is only available up to 4.1, which is my current FW.
I won't be updating past that until a new non-RCM entry point shows up, which is not really likely to happen anytime soon, if ever.
And that is even more true for the owners of the recent iPatched switch units, which do not have the RCM entry point, but come with fw 4.1

Obviously 88 people vs 10000s who purchased sx os means that emunand is not needed wanted or a priority.

I think you need to expand your understanding of the subject before telling people their wrong.

Im on 3.0.0 i have sx os. I don't need or want emunand i only want coldboot. All devs advised to not update. Yet almost everyone updated. If you really cared you wouldn't be on 4.1.

Again that is not how it works and if you count the already 175 with the 28 possible that is over 200 compared to the 66 who voted no. So yeah a lot of people do want it

Considering that Nintendo has a lot more telemetry in the OS this time around, having an untouched emuNAND for online is very useful, especially if you keep sysNAND offline to use with hacks.

Yeah 175 people isn't a lot. And you add the possible to the negative.

So of the people who viewed the poll only 10% voted. Of the votes 2/3 say yes. So you are looking at around 6% of users wanting it.

no you don't. Why should you add that to the negative ? And again a poll doesn't work that way. If a poll would work the way you want it 2 work then a poll should always be asked of the whole planet instead only a certain amount of people. That's just how statistics work so fucking deal with it instead of nagging that you don't agree with it

My understanding is crystal clear.
I only got to 4.1 because when I bought my console (still paying for it until December, btw), it came with 3.0.2, which is as good as 4.1 when it comes to TrustZone exploits.
I have been following the scene since last December.

As I said, I want EmuNand for a FREE, WARMBOOT, NON RCM exploit, which is readily available (albeit undisclosed as of now) in FWs up to 4.1.
And that's before factoring in that EmuNand is safer when it comes to avoiding bans and bricks, and the only way for ipatched units to get any CFW, (as of now).
And I bet a LOT more (and by a LOT I mean over tens of thousands) would want it too if it were available now, had they known exactly what it means.

Obviously not talking about SX OS people, since you guys already had to fork money for piracy (bonus points for defending it, for the irony of that), which I won't be doing since even SX Pro is way too expensive for me atm (it sucks to live in a country where a game is as expensive as a month's worth of food).

Why not do it the other way around? I think you would be safer to have emunand offline.

The guys that are banned should not vote :V, just kidding but if you are banned is obvious that to don’t care about emunand
