no RCM mode on its own can cause itNo, because battery desync has nothing to do with SX OS or SX Pro or RCM mode. It is a Linux-specific issue. No Linux, no problem.
It stays, but you can unplug the battery connector, press power button for a few seconds, re-attach battery plug, assemble the console and do like 2 full battery cycles and it will fix it.
It's fixable but a huge pain in the ass.
Why would it? It's not other firmware with other battery driver xDno RCM mode on its own can cause it
Any chance we can see the emailI asked Team Executer about the battery desync in an email and got the answer " Our product run smoothly" make of that what you will
That basically means: Thanks for your preorder! We now have your money so bye!" Our product run smoothly"
being in RCM drains battery but doesnt charge when connected I have never even attempted to run linux on my switch and mine is desyncedWhy would it? It's not other firmware with other battery driver xD
That does not desync, . It might be for something else.being in RCM drains battery but doesnt charge when connected I have never even attempted to run linux on my switch and mine is desynced
its the desync im sure of it its showing all the signs of the desync that everyone else was reporting and the method of disconnecting the battery was able to fix itThat does not desync, . It might be for something else.
Strange. But again, what you explained don't desync the battery. The real reason is other, and afaik it shouldn't afect RCM. Maybe something else happend to your console.its the desync im sure of it its showing all the signs of the desync that everyone else was reporting and the method of disconnecting the battery was able to fix it
all i know if the desync first started when the console was left in rcm for like 20 minutesStrange. But again, what you explained don't desync the battery. The real reason is other, and afaik it shouldn't afect RCM. Maybe something else happend to your console.

I just assumed so. Anyway I really hope their customer service will at least be OK.Who said I did preorder? (I mean I did but not directly from TX)
" Our product run smoothly"

It will still desync in the launcher since Horizon isn't running at that point. That basically means: "If you just use our OS your battery will be fine.."
If you're not in HOS, it starts to desync, because there's nothing to track battery charge. And well if the launcher desyncs it.. how long do you have to be in the launcher to actually get a desync ?
