It appears that Nintendo ha seen sued for it's popular home console, the Switch. Specifically for it's joycon design. By none other than GameVice. The company claims that Nintendo is using one of its existing patents without permission. They seem to have already created a console with a similar design concept to that of the switch.

Nintendo hasn't exactly responded to the matter yet, but the company wishes to stop all Switch sales. So, is this the actions of Nintendo haters, or just plain business?

Nintendo has money, and damn-good lawyers. I'm pretty sure they'll win against this bullshitter. They'll defend their new hardware to the bloody death.

I can see where they are coming from, you slide in a screen and get to use the controls on the sides. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I think they are grasping at straws. If that picture is the console in question, Nintendo will win. That thing doesn't even have detachable controllers on it...

In the world of patents: If you can, sue. Patents are often made as vague as possible, not just to protect the original product, but to claim copyright infringement for any product that is in any way similar and more successful.

No reason to assume any sort of malice on their part. This is just how bad businesses stay afloat.

    I'd like to find a power strip and HDMI selector built in 1 unit, so I can select which game system I want, and will switch to that hdmi, and power on that plug/power supply only, so don't have all game systems powered all the time, but can't find anything like.     @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
