Hacking Disc could not be read, all games, 2 wiis

So I recently softmodded 2 Wiis which have both been sent back for not reading discs
Using all games, at certain points it displays the wii message "Disc could not be read. Refer to Wii Operations Manual for details."
I used ModMii to update both to 4.2 and softmod and then installed DARKCORP to enable loading through disc channel
I can't use USBLoader because these arent my Wiis and I don't know if this person has a USB to use
Does anybody know what's wrong?

If it's a wii newer than a year, it's possible that Disc loading is'nt possible.

Newer wii's can't read backups.

Yeah, prob d3-2 drives (or something like that).

Only workaround is replace the drives. Otherwise use usb-loaders.

These Wiis are very old, and were softmodded successfully before.
They were bought back to be updated to 4.2, once updated they could not read discs anymore (at certain points in games)
I'm thinking I might have forgotten a step? I installed DARKCORP and waninkokos CIOS Rev21
Is there anything else needed to enable disc loading?

Are you using -R media ??

Yep, Verbatim DVD-R, never given me any problems before

Okay just checked with older games and they seem to work,
The games that do not work are:
Michael Jackson The Experience
Wii Party
Ultimate Battle Of The Sexes

Is there something linking these games like a needed IOS?

Really woul'dnt know.... If it would , Darkcorp needs to be updated by the devs.
