PAL owners, get the NTSC versions of these games for progressive scan and no borders, higer frame rate.
An then there are those NTSC owners like me who look to get PAL games because they just might have something more than English.
not only that, but all my games are pal, do to being overseas when i had a gamecube.

You use one partition for GC which is FAT32 and the other is for Wii which is WBFS? If so may I ask how much space can I use in a 500GB HDD if I break it to two partitions like that? I want something around 100GB for GC as FAT32 while the other 400 (350 actually) for Wii as WBFS, is this possible or should I just stick with FAT32 for all?

Try this method but don't forget to set partitions as "Active"

So there was one other person confirming the same issue with the Collector's edition of Zelda (green screen). Is this an issue for everyone? I ask because the release notes seems to have specifically targeted this game:

1.4 (2012-05-07):

* Fixed a bug which broke loader patching (fixes games that load .dols. Zelda:CE, ...)

anyone using GX to launch gamecube games have issues with 1.4b mario sunshine launches to a green screen but works in 1.3 and ultimate spider-man to a black screen in 1.4b and 1.3

Do you have a recommendation for another loader? I'm assuming both can be installed at the same time?

Mario Sunshine works fine to me with 4.1b

what i dont understand your question

You replied to me that certain games are not working with USB Loader GX 3.0. I then asked if there was a different loader you recommended using.

Secondly, I was asking if both loaders could be used, meaning I didn't have to un-install USB Loader GX 3.0 in order to install a different one. I'm asking if I have the ability to use either one or the other.

Did that clarify my questions?

got ultimate spider-man to work i had to use the force interlace option as the game didnt like 480p lol

also got mario sunshine working by forcing interlace then enabling progressive scan

This game cannot be played without a boot disc. You must turn off no disc option.

So, Wiiflow Mod (svn 4xx, 3xx, etc) will fix Mega Man X Collection while being on Nintendo component cables? The fact that it works for some people on 1.4b but not for me is just plan weird, and I even set my Wii to both 480p AND 480i.

But he hasn't yet attempted to use another cable. We don't yet know for certain whether component is a factor in his particular situation.

Well, I didn't bring the older composite/RCA cable with me (it's at home and I haven't time to get it right now). It might be the cables, which wouldn't be surprising, since I've had these for four years already. I had some 3rd party component cables at home which worked pretty well, but I forgot those, too.

I guess I could always get one from here http://www.monoprice...Wii%20Component

Never had any problems with their products (like HDMI cables), as they're quite trustworthy.

It isn't likely. Cause and effect don't seem to corellate. You've given a description of events that's different than normal.

What you said is: menus appear while FMVs won't.

What usually happens: having menus and FMV appear then no gameplay

The latter scenario is known to happen on Gamecube and PS2 also. Since that's caused by the TV component input failing to recognize 240p, rather than a problem with the game, console, or cable.
