True but if you know how to use it you can break smaller phrases and such down to what they really mean. It's just very time consuming since sometimes you need other sources and instances where the word you're trying to find is being used. It's bad enough trying to create little phrases with Google Translator but an entire story? You'll never be able to do it.
But yeah... Google Translate just won't help at the moment. Especially if you have a mild understanding of both languages. I'd just leave it up to whoever is currently working on this.

EDIT: Not trying to sound like an ass. I was just pointing it out since I was "approached" about this and I figure I should just try to make it as clear as possible that there's no way you'd be able to use Google Translator for the story.

As much as I'd love a translation for this, I don't really NEED it.

Considering I've already beaten the game in Japanese, a language I'm still in the process of learning. XD

You May Not Need this Translation, but Some of the Gamers and Digimon Fans Need This Translation

Rastaan and Yugix are still working on the translation, but are at alot of tedious work so it is taking a long time.

Not trying to get hopes up.
Graphically I am done dumping and I have been going through the graphics and figuring out what is what in english. About 8 (so far), that I am gonna need help with in identifying what they really say. The rest is actually going pretty fast. There is a lot of repetition in the images. I am pretty sure that what image work there is isn't gonna be that hard to do.

As to the text translation I have to coordinate with that. As some specific image work may have to agree with the text. "Digimon Farm" to "Digi Farm". Unless of course this shorter form stuff isn't a big deal? Having the image one way and the text the other way...

Oh, yeah I am close to having a list ready to go with the progress for the image work. I just want to get the characters that are in the images down first.

Although I feel the need to remind you guys this isn't the only project I am working on. If this one other project (that I am working on) gets its text fully translated I am going to have to leave this one until I finish with that.

Oh, I'm fully aware of it. I'm just saying it's very possible to play it without ANY knowledge of the language whatsoever.

I, for one, would love to replay this in English... ^.^

About the black screen,
I have fixed the issue, and now it is working fine. I will test it further to be sure

About the details,
I will finish the first issue and then check it.

Hey yugix how did you fix that black screen error with regards to name entering
has that something to do with the width/size of the string/text or the font

Hi All,

Sorry for not updating status of the translating for some time ago. I'm working on it in a slow base and I'm still in equipments details so it will take a while till I get to finish them.

Hi,
The links you gave are not correct. But thank you since I used these guides with some texts that I can't translate properly (like character names).

I don't know if this issue is connected to No$gba error or not.
But the way to fix it was to change all English (ASCII) letters in names to S-JIS characters since the game can't take more than 8 characters even if they was ASCII.
Gamewise, the names will still appear as English names, so it will not affect gameplay.

i have just sat and read all 26 pages and the amount of work you guys have done, is great, its even better as i had just started translating the quests only to find this with so much done LOL

the main thing i will like to do is thank you yugix and rastsan as well as suaqua and your friend which im sorry to say i forgot what is name was other then it started with a T hehe
