How would you silence the background music in the voice clips from the show?

im a newcomer too so idk who to ask lol
best move would be to wait 24 hours and
within that 24 hours someone gbatemp regular would point us in the right direction
It CAN be done, maybe the result won't be perfect, but I've seen tutorials on youtube on how to remove background music and SOMETIMES it works. Plus I can ask to the guy who did a Dragon Ball Project (he put the latinoamerican voices of Dragon ball z anime into the Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi 3 game for ps2) ; the results of his project are pretty goodHow would you silence the background music in the voice clips from the show?
your images dont work

Hey all I've been lurking for a while and registered just so I can have my inputI for one would also love a redub (fan localization) in place. We have access to the voices from the anime and even the official US anime music (orchestrated and bad "fight" music) for season 1. Why not at least do a proof video or something. If this isn't possible at least we can translate the game easily because we already have the script material from the English season 1 and Digimon the Movie.
No, Pepper Breath and Spirit Fire are the localized terms and thus: correct.
Votes before resulted in most fans preferring localized terms, which is the ones that are going to be used.
Because it is illegal to use material you have no license to.
If someone really wants to dub it themselves, they own the rights to it, so enjoy.
But in any case, this would be illegal.
A translation is a derivative work, it is sort of a grey area, and as long as you only release the patch it is technically legal.
Your idea is not.
Also: Why in gods name would you replace the awesome japanese soundtrack with the ugly US one?
I just watched english episodes the other day
Here the arguble Pepper Breath. When I heart the Digivolution music I was like "WTF? SERIOUSLY?"
NOTHING can compare to Brave Heart or Wada Koji.
You are about to ruin something very beautiful.
While this is all subjective, objectively:
Using US Material you have no license to, will get you in trouble...
Because of the nostalgia which this game was originally made for. I don't know about you, but I grew up listening to the english voices and music and everytime I try to switch to Japanese it's just odd to me. Why keep something that wasn't the memorable part towards everyone. I absolutely love the US dub music, so what they overused it in the anime? You can control whether or not to overuse it in the game. I love tracks like this one
And who can forget music like "Hey Digimon"?

Hey romsstar I have a question: you're saying that replacing music files would be ilegal. Replacing the voices would be ilegal too?
