Hacking Difference between BackupLoader and StartPatchv4.0

Hi!!!
About a week ago I hacked my Wii and got the HBC and BackupLoader gamma on my Wii. Upon searching the forum, I stumbled upon StartPatchv4.0 which seems to do the same thing like the BackupLoader. Can anyone tell me the difference between the two and the advantages of having one over the other?

they are nothing alike at all, backup loaders play backups and startpatchv4.0 patchs the 4.0 system menu with verious hacks like region free and block disk updates but it does not play backups

I see, so the StartPatch is basically a pack of hacks that enchances the Wii?

in a sence yeh, its the preloader hacks without preloader
