Hardware Did I just lost all data in my hard-disk?

I opened CoverFloader on my wii and it asked me to format my hard-drive to wbfs. Without thinking I click ok. Format Successfull. Now when I plug my hard disk in my computer, it says that it is not acsessible and that I need to format it to use it. When I click format it says I will lose all my hard-disk data. Help me! I am so lost.

PS:What is the difference between hard-disk and hard-drive?

When it asked if you wanted to format to wbfs or whatever, you lost all your data then

You might as well press OK, and start over with the files

You could get your save files back with programs like Recuva although its not a 100% guarantee.
Just make sure you don't do any write actions on the HDD and run the program to see what it finds .

Also try TestDisk: http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk

Chances are it only rewrote the partition header, so TestDisk should be able to find the directory structure.
