Hacking Defrag

If i defrag my ntfs drive will my games be shafted, reason i ask is i was using wbfs and have now spent 2 days tranfering files back to my none partitioned 2tb external

I don't think so. I'm fairly sure I tried defragging back when my uneek drive refused to boot. Though that didn't help that problem (that was solved with another thing), not a single game was corrupted in the process.
I'm using a FTA32 drive, though. I can't say the same for NTFS. As for WBFS...it's a bit unfair because we pretty much only hear the "things fail" stories around here, but still: I wouldn't try to defragment it (assuming there is even a tool out there that can actually DO it).

Defrag is not dangerous to .wbfs files.

Defrag utils don't care about the content of files.
It will not change the content of the file in any way, same as copying would.
Both simply read the content and write it somewhere else without even trying to understand it.
Its somewhat like asking if a american xerox can copy texts written in french.

I would need substantial evidence before even considering the oposite.

On the mater of defrag for wbfs partitions.
a) afaik there is no such thing
b) imho it would not offer a significant improvment
c) noone really knows because of a)
d) if someone made me an offer for writing one I would consider it
