The cheat.dat file is compitable with the EdgeDS flashcard, all you have to do is rename the file to cheats.dat and the firmware will read the file just fine.
I didn't see EdgeDS listed in the compitability list.

That is because I am making a separate file for it in the next update so people don't have to rename it. I used to have it in the compatibility list until I was told that the EDGE uses "cheats.dat" not "cheat.dat" even though you can rename the file. So I will just do a simpler method to prevent confusion for everyone and include both in the next update.

@DeadSkullzJr Could you maybe implement the button press combinations with the cheats in Pokemon SoulSilver? Since they didn't work for me, but saw on this website that it involves some button presses such as the ones for "max money" and "max savings mom". Tnx

Adding button combination codes to existing cheats will not fix the issue you are having with the cheats. ALL of the SoulSilver cheats work as is for me so I do not get why they do not work for you. All of the cheats on this website are already in the list, the only difference is the button combos.

If not, then I only wanted to suggest to add some extra description with these codes indicating that such a button combination should be used in order for them to work.

There actually already is a description with the button combination needed to use the cheat. If you have Wood R4, find a cheat and hit Y, it will tell you the description, if there is no description then the cheat doesn't need a button combo. Yes the cheat works for me with and without the button combo cheats.

Doing that would be messy as some flashcarts do not have title side autoscrolling features so the title could potentially be cut off by the screen.

Hey, quick question. I just downloaded the updated urscheat.dat file, and everything is working fine. There's one game I can't get the database to appear on, however - Storm Silver v1.1. How would I go about getting the cheats for Storm Silver to work on Storm Silver V1.1?

Currently the latest version of that ROM hack is v1.8, the reason the cheats do not show up for you is because the ID of v1.8 is different from v1.1. You will have to update to v1.8 in order to use the cheats, I keep all the cheats updated for the latest versions of each ROM hack available if I can. I do not add cheats for every single version of the ROM hacks available as that would be VERY troublesome and clustered.

Good news everyone, yesterday I got myself a brand new laptop. Now I am able to work on the go if I so choose to do so, hopefully this will make the process a little faster now that I can work on databases more often. A little update one the cheat databases themselves, I have been cleaning cheats up for certain games and of course adding more when possible. This update will have cheats for 70+ games (still growing) so you guys will have loads of fun with more than just a few games. I am looking forward to getting this update out there when I am comfortable and pleased with it, for now I will continue to keep you guys up to date so you don't think I abandoned the scene lol. Figure since suggestions are being considered by OP (you're a cool guy, I sure as heck wouldn't want the job of maintaining this - power to you) I'll mention that none of the cheat DBs currently have 7th Dragon's fan translation listed.

All the JP version cheat codes work perfectly fine with the fan translation, so you can copy that and change the CRC and title fields.

I'm only mentioning this because for the last two years when I've updated my cheat DB I've had to manually add it myself in r4cce. 7D's experience curve is way too mean compared to 2020, so I tend to set it to 2x and enable save anywhere.

I personally do not remember where I got it, but I have it. Maybe we can exchange Discord info or something along the lines and we can go from there. If you agree then I recommend talking via private conversation.

What value is the Pokémon, or is this a modifier that allows you to change your starter to any Pokémon by pressing a button or something?

Edit: Nevermind, I had to think for a moment, basically this cheat let's you get starters multiple times. Thank you, I will definitely add it!
