Hacking Datel Powersaves now supports Pokemon X/Y

Try setting up a VM. Might not be worth it though, considering most people having this problem just kept trying until it works.

I ruled out USB as a factor, I backed up my cart, moved in game, saved, then restored and it worked exactly as expected so it appears that I may have to fire up wireshark after I'm done working for the day

id go get mine at target but i got $17 in store credit for gamestop (bought super mario 3D Land for $15 at a pawn shop played and beat it then traded it in at gamestop and got $17 lol) and a $5 off anything in store coupon so i can get it for $10 after taxes

I was disappointed to see that all of the code processing is done on their remote server. I was able to see the code data in RAM and could edit it using Cheat Engine but it didn't change the result because it uses their server to apply the patch to the save file. I'm probably going to start another thread about my theory here.

briman, I pulled a couple of wireshark captures and think I can build a framework that'll emulate the back end (and for purposes of being stubbed out will return the save originally transmitted intact back to the client

98% of the time i'd agree with you but i got Super Mario 3D Land for $15 beat it and gamestop offered me $17 trade in which is $2 more then i paid for it so essentially i got paid $2 to beat a game lol

Mario Kart 7 still seems to work for me on both cartridges, before for one of the games I had to reinsert a couple times to get it to show up (Ha, dirty joke.)

What code are you trying to apply? I just applied one to Y and it works fine. If you have the US version of the game and send me your save I can apply it and send the save back.

Won't work. Datel's servers will try to decrypt khalaan's save file using your game's unique decryption key, not his. Try to load his Y version onto your game, and it'll say it's corrupted.

The pro version is just a rebrand , its the same software right? cause i aleardy bought the version without the name PRO on it..
