Out of curiosity, how do you get cheats to work on VC games? I've tried googling and found nada

It's the same like with Retailgames. If you start a VC game you can open the Gateway ingame menu and search the RAM.

maybe some people don't want to share them or it's really hard to find cheats on that game, I would try if I own a N3DS lol
