Because these cheat codes has the nearly same structure as the GameShark codes (which where used for consoles like PS2 or other consoles from nintendo in this time) they were name liked that. Logically the "Gate" in GateSahrk is the hint to "Gate"-way3DS.

I think we can do anything. Since the codes are running the same time as the game, you can create Infinite Life cheats for example. You can search for cheat codes with this function while you running a game.
It's a "normal" cheat function like Action Replay for DS.
You can Max values. You can make them infinite. If you find the spots you can unlock things in games. Like I said, nearly anything.

My problem with fort42 is that while I can select a game and add a code, I cannot add a new game or a code for a game that isn't already there. Already started finding stuff for USA Hyrule Warriors with the latest update, but as of Yesterday, there was no way I could find to submit anything.

Unfortunately it is privileged to the admin storm75x and the moderators like me.
That other users can't add games seems to be a restriction from storm to prevent spam with games. To prevent double or triple games.
