So it'll be back on Friday, then?

If it's a bandwidth issue, then yes. Hosting plans are purchased with XXGB data transfer per month. They reset on the 1st of the month. So they'd get new bandwidth.

I hope there will be a stable release soon... What do you think will come after the 1.5 final? Has the DS reached its limits then?

New features can always be added, and it always seems a new game will be released in which the firmware needs a "fix" to allow for that game to work....

I found it very interesting that the day Joystiq and DSFanboy posted articles about the Nintendo Lawsuits, the CycloDS website and forums went down.
Good thing I bought an extra card just in case

Well, CycloDS Domain is hosted in a Chinese Server, and China is in GMT +8. CycloDS domain expires on 2008-09-24, so a few hours ago domain should have back. Really is this problem about Bandwith? It's strange that TC still hasn't pronounced somewhere about that considering his good reputation.

I hope that this is only temporal.

Ehh..it happens. I have seen this happen before...and I could have sworn I have seen Cyclo's site down in the same manner not too long ago. I wouldn't worry. I am sure they'll be back up and running in no time at all.

This is the nice message:

Bandwidth Limit Exceeded
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later.

Apache/1.3.37 Server at cyclopsds.com Port 80

Maybe they got a cheap domain (with bandwidth limit)

If bandwidth is mounth based, tomorrow the site will be up again...

This is kind of normal for the Team Cyclops site, seems to happen every few months or so. I wish that they'd straighten out their billing plan, as if I owned TC I'd be pretty damned embarassed to have my business site down. (I have seen it happen once or twice with Supercard and some of the other guys that also have forums, but not very often.)

Anyways, yeah, it looks like their service provider is in HK, and at various t5imes in the past when they've gone down I've been re-directed to various pages, but the usual one is the one that's been described. It'll likely be back up tomorrow as it will be August 1st -> probably new billing cycle/bandwidth refresh.

Its weird, I was on for one second last night the next BAM its down. Man and I Just got my Cyclo.

I'm not freaking out or anything, but it really is quite inconvenent...can anyone link to a download of iCyclo (the Mac equivalent of CycloEdit)?

I think this is the current version of iCyclo.

Hmm, the app's not opening on my computer-- thanks anyway!

Ah, that would explain it. I'm running Tiger, but I'd really like the back-up and skin functions of something like that. Are there any other .sav backup managers for the Mac (other than Rominator, which I'm not too hot on)?
