Heyyy,

after nobody could help me on my previous post i am now trying to restore my EmuNAND backup with this tutorial. My problem is that the connection is always aborting when copying the RAW file which is reallyy big.

Methods i have tried:
- sd card into laptop (file size too big, i guess its max. 4gb)
- USB file transfer app (aborting)
- ftpd (aborting)

any other ideas?

3 options:
1. Use a spare MicroSD card formatted to exFAT to restore the backup. This is fine to do, since Hekate has its own exFAT driver, it's not affected by the corruption issues of HOS.

2. Split the backup into parts:
1. Open the folder containing rawnand.bin in 7-Zip
2. Right-click rawnand.bin and choose "split..."
3. Input "2048M" for the split size
4. Once it's done, you'll need to rename the end of the files from ".001", ".002", etc to ".00", ".01", etc.
5. Restore your eMMC like normal

3. Use HacDiskMount to restore the backup from a PC.

Transferring data over USB connection was never reliable for me. Every time I tried installing over USB in title managers (regardless of which one) the install would frequently fail with a USB related error. ftpd homebrew has also not been very reliable for me and seems only suited for small files.

no! you need your rawnand.bin file that file can be splitt in to multiple files: rawnand.bin.00 to rawnand.bin.14 or rawnand.bin.00 tp rawnand.bin.07

If your card is on FAT32 format you need the 15 2GB files, if your card is ExtFAT you can copy the 32GB file.

That files are the one you use to restore. If you are using Hekate you need to put them on

SD:/backup/EMMCID/restore

Where EMMCID is the hex number of your Emmc chip

Also if you have a File based EmuNAND your backup can be the files:
1696286132137.png

on that case you only need to copy that files to your SD Card and setup the SD:/emuMMC/emummc.ini file.

You need to enable displaying file extensions, the .001 file wasn't renamed correctly. In the File menu in Explorer, click change folder options. Find it on the view tab, "Show file extensions for known file types"

Also I do recommend to use NxNandManger https://github.com/eliboa/NxNandManager (latest version from https://github.com/eliboa/NxNandManager/suites/15345214343/artifacts/876227106) and test your files.

you need a copy of your Keys.dat (prod.keys) on the same folder of NxNandManager.
my files now look like this. i guess there another problem now.
