how transfer saves and profile from my V2 to my Oled?

Hello, my question is the following. I have tried several tutorials including the one from sthetix on how to "TRANSFERRING SAVE DATA TO ANOTHER CONSOLE WITH JKSV" I do the whole process but my Mario Kart 8 file is not restored, even though JKSV says to do it simply When loading the game it starts from scratch, now my question is, do I need to pass my profile too? My old V1 is almost certainly banned since I never put emunand on it but I want an OLed but I don't want to lose the saves of my games, what can I do do? I know it can be done with both switches and there is no need for a hack, but I want to know if I can do it with any application, thank you very much

You can try checkpoint to backup your save then move the save to the other unit.
