It has been confirmed that r4i gold released by r4ids.cn can support 3DS 6.1.0-X on condition that it can support 3DS 6.0.0-X.

Try on my 3DS FW 6.1.0-11U set. R4i gold 3DS (6.0.0-11 patched) cart working well. DsTwo (6.0.0-11 patched) cart also working well

Currently yes. They said they're working on the update file for the older ones, but seeing as it generally takes 12-48 hours for other teams to make an update...
