Hi guys !
Here my contrib : french translation
Configurator 50.1 pack fr

I didn't translate option's names, i think english version are more understandable. But all tooltips are in french.

I've some bugs on console wizard : Instruction form are too short -> miss some sentences at the end of it. And one other, in console wizard form, i can't use é,è à, etc. (character encoding ?)

Nice job however, i'm realy fond of it !!

Thanks. I'll add your stuff to the first post soon. I realise the instruction pages are a little bit of a problem, but they aren't that important. Just drop sentences you don't deem necessary. As for the character encoding, just ensure you tell your text editor to save the file using a Unicode font encoding method (you can do this in both Notepad and Wordpad).

hoo, dammed, sometime i'm stupid

An option to download covers from net would be welcome.
I've been discussing this with the WiiTDB guys and it seems quite doable. Look forward to it

Cover Wizard Beta of Configurator is out

download here

Features of the Cover Beta:
  • New covers wizard for downloading and viewing covers!
  • Supports all repositories (just add them in the boxes).
  • Can get list of games from a gamelist.txt file (created with loader) or via reading the wbfs directory of a FAT or NTFS drive (can't and won't read WBFS drives, though, it's too much work).
  • Choose which cover types you want to download

This is a beta release as I can't really do much testing right now. There are likely to be a few bugs. I also don't want to bother with the translation files until I get this looking right.

Usage Notes:
  • It is best to put the executable into your base directory so that it autodetects your gamelist.txt and will have better luck at autodetecting your existing cover directories.
  • Reading an existing config.txt from the base directory is an alternative to the above step.
  • Make sure your selected path directories exist (you can create them with the "Choose" buttons if necessary).
  • gamelist.txt is created by saving global options in the loader (push 1-1-2) in case you didn't know.
Please try it out and let me know what's buggy or needs improvement.

So far this is working great for me, and works just as described. Awesome job man! this is a great and useful app. looks sweet too.

Is it somehow possible to make a forced download for ntsc covers when the pal doesn't exist in the db?
I may add this via a new tag in the URLs. I'll discuss it with oggzee first, as we might be able to make it consistent with Cfg

Cover Wizard Beta 2 of Configurator is out

download here

Features of the Cover Beta 2:
  • The games list show how many games it has and the number of missing covers for each image type is shown above the images.
  • Added a new tag to the URLs: {PUB}. This includes the last two digits of the game ID (which represent the publisher) and will be included in v51 of Cfg as well whenever that comes out. This allows you to force NTSC covers on PAL games and so on (see below)
  • Various cleanups and bug fixes.
To allow the downloading of NTSC covers for PAL games, just change the {ID6} in the URL to {ID3}E{PUB} and change {CC} to US. E.g., for 2D covers, if you want to look for PAL covers at WiiTDB, then PAL covers at muntrue, then NTSC covers at WiiTDB, you could use the following set of URLs:

Code:
http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/cover/{CC}/{ID6}.png
http://www.muntrue.nl/covers/ALL/160/225/boxart/{ID6}.png
http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/cover/US/{ID3}E{PUB}.png

As for cover conversion from 2D to 3D, sorry, I can't add it. There's no functions for perspective transformation in VB.

Edit: I also updated the cdbs, so go for it, translators

What am i doing wrong here?

Wiitdb has the whole set for 007:quantum solace. I use this set of links

Code:
http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/cover/{US}/{ID3}E{PUB}.png
http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/cover3D/{US}/{ID3}E{PUB}.png
http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/disc/{US}/{ID3}E{PUB}.png
http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/coverfullHQ/{US}/{ID3}E{PUB}.png
http://wiitdb.com/wiitdb/artwork/coverfull/{US}/{ID3}E{PUB}.png

And the only thing downloaded is the 2d picture.

Don't put braces around "US".
