Still get the stack dump with 35A5. Works fine with version 35 and I think the first 3 alphas. A4 was the first time I got the stack dump and still have it with A5
Can you make a snapshot of the code dump screen?
Or, if you can just write down the first 3 numbers after STACK DUMP

When I set the IOS as mload223 it prints 5 dots (one by one) and then it just stay there and does nothing, how long should I wait for it to load..?? 5, 10 minutes..??

Which cfg version are you using? Can you try these: 33, 34 and 35a5.
I ask this because in 34 there was added support for external ehcmodule to the mload ios, and it might be related, although, it works fine for me.
And, can you tell me if uloader by hermes works when setting ios in game settings to 222/223?

Ahh my usb harddisk problem.

Config USB loader accepts my harddisk and everything is fine, but if I turn off my wii with my remote, turn it back on and starts Config USB loader again - the harddisk is not recognized. I am presented with the counter. It is as if the harddisk somehow thinks it is still in "the last session" (mind you it has been powered the whole time). I then have to pull the plug on the harddisk and turn off and on the wii to make it work again.

Is it possible to implement in Config USB loader a kind of "resync" with the harddisk feature, so I don't have to "get outta me couch" to unplug the usb harddisc in the described case?

I have a 1.5 TB Seagate Freeagent Desk

The loader can't do that.
The CIOS has to do that.
Did this help or not:

QUOTE(oggzee @ Jun 30 2009, 02:15 PM) You can try adding ios=222-mload to your config.txt, that will load the hermes's (uloader) ios, which might wake up the drive.
Thanks man, that was exactly what I needed!

Can someone please clarify a few things for me.

I already have wanko's 1.51 usb loader on my Wii. I have been having compatability issues with it lately and would like to switch to this loader if possible.

However reading the first post I can not make out what files I need there does not seem to be a guide for install. I donwloaded the newest file V3.5.dol but thats not the complete setup files I need I think thats just a patch?!?

Is there a complete setup file for new users of this??

I personally like the speed, but I do agree with the wii pointer scrolling. Also, I would like to add to this the ability to click on and select a game cover that is not directly dead center. In other words, right now the only game you can select is the one that is the shown title. In wiiflow for example, you can click on a title that is a few covers down the list (but still viewable onscreen) and jump directly to that given game. I always thought that was a huge perk, as it gave the feeling of really scrolling through and selecting the game of your choice in your "personal library"

Yes all that is on the todo list. We're just trying to shake out the bugs with the merged coverflow code before we add any new features. Those will most likely be in v36. But thanks for the suggestions. Keep 'em coming!

Get the cfg version 34 (release). That is the complete setup.
And if you want to play with latest stuff then try 35a5 (alpha) and copy the dol over apps/usbloader/boot.dol

Grab the v34 from the main page and put everything in the inSDRoot folder on your SD card. Then boot into HBC and load the 'SD/USB Loader 1.5_sfc' app. It should mount your drive and then display a bunch of covers. Press the 1 button TWICE and the option should be highlighted. Press right on the DPad and it should download all the missing covers. Then press B and the covers should be there. Point to a game and press A to load it. If you press 1 you get game-specific options.

And fwiw, I use cIOS 13a.

Azadar, take a look on this install guide: http://gwht.wikidot.com/usb-loader

awesome that is a bad ass site. Thanks for the work. Really would have helped me set up if I saw it last week.

I would like to take a second to thank all those that made this process easier, simpe and possible. I have had to buy at least 3 copies of a couple games do to damage of disc. My niece and nephews play them a lot and are not gentle with them. Finally I can buy a game one time and store it. thank you.

I think I've found the reason of this error:

I'm using cIOS_r9, so the HDD needs to be on the upper USB slot, while the cIOS222/223_mload needs the HDD on the lower USB slot, so there is no way I can do this, without the cIOS_r12/r13, let me install one of those cIOS and I'll post results back...!!
wink.gif

EDIT: Yep this was the error, but still using IOS reload block, wont make CoD3 to work...!!

Thanks a lot for clearing up this issue!
Unfortunately the ios reload block does not solve the issue for all the problematic games.

oggzee, thanks for the great work you have put into the loader. I am also getting the DSI error on 35a5. I haven't checked any other versions but it was ok on 35a1. Here is the dump (hand typed as I didn't have a camera handy
