I'm not sure - I resized them to 2.5 in by 3.5 in (tcg standard/poker size) when I made my own template to print out on my 8.5 by 11 cardstock.

I guess the real issue is the corners - I'm not very good at cutting rounded edges.
I see hmm
Try a scissors (maybe only the knife) and a coin as guide?

Use an X-Acto knife and cut two edges, then mount it to the PVC card with rubber cement or a few dots of white glue and trace around the back of the card with the knife so that the paper is perfectly aligned with the card

Avery has a rounded corner business card paper. You can try that. I use photo sticker paper and attach it to the nfc card directly, then with scissors I cut the rest off. Alternatively you can buy the inkjet printable pvc ID cards or regular ID cards and stick the paper to them. You can stick your round tag over the round template we have for the cards to make it look better.

I'm asking the card manufacturers if they can supply me with inkjet printable NFC cards, they said yes but 215's are almost twice as expensive as 216's and 215's take longer to ship. So if we can get the cards onto 216, we will have a nice cheap way make these cards.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Guess I didn't notice it on them.

I did notice that myself. Maybe we can add the game title to the cards on the front.

I think that's because they import them from China... I did the same, and they should be here in a couple weeks. I payed $0.55 each including shipping.

Before you spend money to buy the cards, you have to know if your printer can print on a paper in these dimensions!
I have a Canon MP240 and the minimum dimension is 5x9cm (and the cards are 6,3x8,8cm)

J tray for Canon printers with pvc card slots
I've noticed a correlation between printers that accept J/G trays, and those that can print directly to CD/DVD.

Can someone point me to the assets needed to make my own set in the proper aspect for these cards. I have been real busy with hard mods, that I have had little time to do the leg work myself. I would be very grateful.

What you want to know exactly?
To print these cards you can download my template from here http://emanuelebgn.tumblr.com/
Next, you can put them in a Word document (if you don't have a program of image editing like Photoshop) and print. If your printer support the print on cards (B8 format, 6,3x8,8cm) you can use directly these cards. To know this open Control Panel > Printers > right click on your printer > Printing preferences > you'll see a window with all the propriety > set up the paper dimension > click "OK > now you can print

Those cards are in a different aspect ratio than the PVC cards. In order to fit them I have to either cut off of stretch the cards to fit. I do not wish to do either. If I had all the actual resources (backgrounds, logos, characters, icons, etc.), I can create my own cards in the proper aspect for my cards. Another idea is if I could have the .png format of the cards before all the layers are merged. I can then edit them appropriately.

PNG format handle layers and opacity. That is the format I am most familiar with. That is also the format that downloads when you click the images in this thread...

Do you have what I am asking for? I did not ask to start an argument.

EDIT: I also want to note that you can save a PNG as a JPEG, but when you do you loose your layer and transparency information. With a PNG I can change the aspect of the card without changing the aspect of the images on the card and not have to crop any of it. That being said a PNG would be more helpful to me in this case.

I've gotten a few requests for it, so here's my template for my Yoshi's Wooly World card:

Sorry I haven't been more active here, I've gotten really busy lately. Also I've gotten addicted to Fire Emblem Fates. :P

Anyway it looks like you guys have done a great job making cards! :D

Hmmm. Templates. Are these what I am looking for? Does anyone have all the templates created thus far complied into one comprehensive package?

I know it's in there. Ijust haven't ad the chance to do the leg work. I will do just that. Thank you.

Was there a back to the new Wolf Link? I thought I saw one but I cannot find it.

Search a little harder and you'll see a post (by me) with a link to pretty much everything we have collaborated on
I could not find it... I searched for your name in this thread and did not see the post.

Just so you know, I do not know how to use a .psd. I am not a graphics designer and do not mess with Photoshop. I know how to manipulate a .png with the separate layers intact. I loaded a .psd and was lost.

CAN SOMEONE POST THE .PNG FILES WITH THE LAYERS INTACT? At the very least gather all the assets (backgrounds, fonts, character renders, etc.) in one place? I am not asking anyone to do it for free either.
