Made Corrin (Male) #58 in my previous post. Corrin (Female) remains number-less.

I found these Mii images on an image search. Maybe they can be useful to you. They are 3D but they are small.

250px-Mii_Swordfighter_SSB4.png

Some Placeholders. The second to last last image of mario on the transparent background is probably what we are looking for, for the regular mario of the Super Mario series. Perhaps just regular mario in front of 3 different colored backgrounds like the boxes?

I found a super mario box template here: http://sta.sh/0rextjh9r6k

These also exist:

Edit: I also added Mega Man and Corrin to the Drive.
Edit 2: Added some placeholder Mario's for the missing ones and A placeholder Mega man

When I get a chance I will post my Super Mario template as well.
I was also working on one, but I'm sure yours is much better. I was modifying DarkSSJShinji's template to work a little better.
Here's what I have so far...
In my modification, each letter in "MARIO" is a Smart Object that requires an PS Action (I made) to be run, to generate the stroke effect. The "gold" look is a gradient overlay.

I just kept the same dimensions as DarkSSJShinji used, but when you have finalized your version, I think I'll just move my techniques over to yours.

Thanks, again, for all the work you've put into these!

Yours looks good but the gold chrome outline isn't perfect. It'll be difficult to make it look as good as it does on the actual Gold Mario box :/

Actually, I like this version better than the original. Besides, we can't be too perfect. A little flair didn't hurt anyone.

I'd be happy to use that background in gold and silver

@CompC ... What font did you use for the character name on the left side? Your font looks closer to the original than mine does.
Edit: It looks a lot like this one, but the "O" just isn't right.
Edit: I think it might be this one. Will you please confirm?

I didn't use a font. I traced the letters on the amiibo boxes with the pen tool.

Heres a better template for those that actually intend on printing these to PVC cards.

Edit:

Check these out! Front and back View attachment 39625

Inspired by this post, I made some designs based on the box art template, sent the pictures to a printing house and finally received the printed card stickers.
The card backs are matte and the characters are glossy.

My NTAGs are still on the way, so the assembled card is not available...
(Oh yes, remember to leave some space for bleeding. I got some of the printed stickers that have the name chopped off too much)

My cards are also high gloss. From buying the nfc tags, to printing them out and then waterproofing them, using expensive supplies that can be obtained cheaper, my cards cost me $1.60 each to make

It seems I've created a lot of side-talk. So, let me get back on-topic...
I'll work on the Mii Brawler, Mii Swordfighter, and Mii Gunner, tonight.

I love this thread, and great job @CompC

I'm curious how thin these NFC tags are.. Would it be possible to make them as thin and nice looking as the animal crossing cards? Is something professional quality looking just out of the realm of possibility currently?

@daicon I will take a few pictures of my cards tonight. They look pretty much exactly like the picture that @gualala uploaded. High gloss on both sides, NFC built into the card.

Once I perfect the process and get my cost's down, I will probably sell them fully completed. But right now it's just in the prototyping phase.

@TiMeBoMb4u2 I look forward to seeing your work tonight!

I want to see these! You said that they costed $1.60 each right? If you don't mind me asking, where did you get them printed from? Or did you just print them from your own printer? Also, how did you get the NFC in the card? Did you just sandwich the NTAG between two pieces of paper/plastic?
