Before I had a NS2 Pro Controller I thought it'd be the same as the Switch 1, but wow it's a huge upgrade and we'll worth owning one. The Switch 1 Pro Controller was good for its time and as a controller it still is, however when you compare it to its successor that's when it falls short.

Joy -Cons & Pro Controller, that's pretty much what I'll use. No need to have excess of controllers.

A genuinely sensational controller. Big recommend on Gulikit’s Goku 2 as well. Pretty cheap dongle that lets you use the Switch 2 Pro wirelessly on PC. Just shows as a Switch 1 Pro Controller so plays nicely with gyro etc on emulators.

It's not the best D-pad ever, but it's good enough, I think. Definitely an improvement. You can play 2D games without being constantly plagued by ghost inputs, unlike the Switch 1 Pro Controller.

The analog sticks are just magical. They're so buttery smooth.

I just use switch 2 joycons on PC like I do with Switch 1 Pro controller. They work fine under bluetooth and even wired.
But you need additional layer to PC recognize them (Switch 2 ProCon wired works with Steam without additional apps), somewhat like Ds4windows https://github.com/TommyWabg/Switch2Connect

I own both controllers, I was an early adopter of both and I still stand by my original thoughts that the Pro Controller 2 is probably the nicest controller I've ever owned..... I use it almost daily for a blast of SMM2 and it's just so comfortable and luxurious in the hands
