Why isn't it be worked on? Also how is your game going?

JustPingo realized there was no point on doing it since memchunkhax2 is somewhat better and went to work on a downgrade app that will require memchunkhax2. And thanks for asking, i'm pretty sure i'll release a first version next week or maybe this weekend :D

No; don't ever remove menuhax. I gave instructions to remove it when downgraded.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Any *hax is.

Wait what? we can't downgrade yet. And only memchunks has this ability-

was my understanding. am I wrong?

Don't fill this thread with this. go to noob thread that's stickied bro.

I already know, but I was just wondering what would occur if you were to keep IronHax while downgrading. But, I already looked.

Also, it's good that snshax stopped being worked on, since, yeah, what mrraou said, it's worthless for people that are over 10.1. Which is..most people. Should have been working on it since the start though..

We can't downgrade yet from 9.3+. And I meant that any *hax can run the memchunkhax2 exploit. And you'll need a *hax to run it. So don't remove it.

I agree with you that it's easy to when downgrading (removing SD and activating a theme to trigger menuhax again).

The problem occurs when you create an emunand based on a sysnand that have menuhax. Depending on how you configure the button triggering, it will keep looping in reboots, but let this discussion to after we can do some tests. This is not a problem from KTM or memchunkhax2 anyway.

Because it's useless, memchunkhax2 is way better and allows the same for everyone.
It could be months though. Why not work on snshax too? You never know if it could be better/safer or more feasible.

I don't see benefit of thinning our devs to work on another hack that would do less then what's being worked on now.

Edit, i said that like we're all involved

It should be easier to do for sure, but not better or safer in any way. And I doubt that it could take months.

And this isn't related to the topic anyway. I gave instructions to remove menuhax, not to trigger it again.

But what if menuhax is your only way into homebrew? Do you still have to remove it?

From what the Dev said they were days apart from getting released; if I remembered right was the reasoning behind his decision

@Mrrraou You deserve a medal ahah
I read the thread constantly and I see you do such an incredible ask&reply job.

No I have a tiny question for you ^^
Why You, would you want to downgrade your 3DS ?
What your goal beside a personnal achievement.

That relate to exploit cause actually apparently Downgrade mean 9.2, 9.2 mean piracy.
If I would do that myself it just to have acces to Spider injections I liked that precis method with brother etc

Ok, fair enough. If @JustPingo is done with snshax project, do you think he could release the sources so others can take it up?
