Honestly they may just use ntrcardhax for ARM9 access and not having to downgrade. They said support for up to 10.3 and they -can- get that with a combination of ntrcardhax and memchunkhax2.

Also you do know that GW had their stuff working on 4.5 before free CFWs came out right? And they had their card working on up to 9.2 before the free CFWs started popping up.

You do know they didn't find the exploit to get it working right?

The earliest verson of the gw launcher I could find was 2.2 released may 14 of 2014

Smealum's cubic ninja exploit was released around Nov 16 of 2014.

Damn piggybackers.

ehh, they didn't use cubic ninja until n3ds support was started... Then they also didn't even use the same exploit as Smea did (there are a couple of directions that you can go once you get a ROP chain set up)

Gateway is not gonna make a downgrade app. Too risky. I guess.

Gateway wouldn't do this because it would allow others to just downgrade and use the superior CFW instead of paying them for their flashcart

We can't downgrade yet from 9.3+. And I meant that any *hax can run the memchunkhax2 exploit. And you'll need a *hax to run it. So don't remove it.

I got confused by last 2-3 pages.

I have 10.1 and i used browserhax (when it didn't require check) then menuhax (so i can fire up hbc via L on boot)
Before downgrade i need to do something like removing menuhax (because it will conflict maybe ?)

Also after downgrade is done i assume browserhax is still viable way to get entrypoint on 9.2 ?

menuhax still works on 9.2

you have a lot more entrypoints (well at least on o3ds and with a bit of fiddling around on n3ds) available to you on that lower system version. You can use browserhax on 9.0-9.2 use, but you also have some other stuff that can use the browser (direct CFW launching from the browser on o3ds) also if you downgrade MSET you now have that as an entrypoint as well, along with (most of) the hax entrypoints , AND yellows8's homebrew menu CIA which is a standalone CIA that can launch .3dsx files

I'm not sure but he might be hinting at the fact that you shouldn't delete your entrypoints before downgrading... Its just my opinion though

Smea kinda did the same thing where he said, and don't quote me, "Ironfall is a really awesome and fun game (yadayadayada) Download it" Something like that right? I think he did the same for Cubic Ninja.

It might sound a bit odd, but can this be added to the FAQ, first line of the thread, etc, so that everyone sees this, so that they can't use "i didn't see this" excuse if they actually read the original post.

Install menuhax, but updating would be just dumb and dangerous.
That kind of suggestion should be deleted, really.
