Confirmed. I went back to v21d2x3 to get it working again...So i don't think its an HDD issue.
And i tried Wiiflow rev. 304 and 346...they both had problems saving the cover with v21d2x4beta2...after i reinstalled v21d2x3 saving covers worked again.

I haven't tried beta 1 yet, gonna do that next.

Update: tried v21d2x4beta1, same thing, covers cannot be saved en wiiflow freezes...i reinstalled v21d2x3 again and saving covers works again.

Thanks Etheboss for confirming, it seems not to be a bug in wiiflow or d2x cios but an incompatibility with latest rev of wiiflow, I guess only Miigotu or r-win could fix it, as they are the only ones with the current source. The older wiiflow r25 works/downloads covers/saves them just fine so its just a change recently is all. You seen either around for a while? lol

I Like your releases. Great thing. =D

Unfortunately some games are working worse than before with mighty channels.
- Lost Winds isn't booting
- Lost Winds 2 istn't booting
- Swords & Soldiers is freezing during boot
- Bonsai Barber is freezing during boot
- Castelvania Rebirth has the black screen issue (as before)

BUT Max and the Magic Marker is working now, without any problems.
I will post the Log Files soon.

installed also v3, but with Wiiflow, Hackwiiflow and USB loader GX one game won't boot: COD Black ops.
This was working before I installed the v3 version.

Can anybody tell me what to do, to be able to plat COD again?

Did you use base 57? Black OPs needs base 57. I use base 56 in 249 and base 57 in 250. Then I change the IOS to use in wiiflow to 250 for this game.

I'm trying to load Super Mario All Stars 25th Anniversary edition (PAL).

Someimes I get a code dump, other times it loads fine.

Using IOS 249

Any ideas?

Those are well known problematic games. They have never been fully supported.
For LostWind 1 and 2 remove the save then use the FFS module with no logging that I posted above.

Indeed.
The only game which was working with rev17 without any issues was Bonsai Barber.

Now, what do you mean by an incompatibility? when i let modmii build the d2x cios, i always change the version to 21 (not 210003/4)...

And also, i haven't tested it myself, so i would like to know from other people if other USB loaders (latest versions) also have this problem..

It being an incompatibility is just my guess really, but im refering to something along the lines of when rev18 came out for example, the path to usb was changed in the cios so alot of loaders did not work at first and it was rather simple to change but it required fixing none the less, obviously this is not the same thing, but I just thought maybe something similar

Can anybody post the log file for wiiware games that con not connect to Nintendo wifi connection during nand emulation?
For each log file please report the title of the game and the error code you get.

I will try to do that next time I can, It might not be till tomorrow though to get through testing it.

I noticed last night though when playing a VC N64 game super mario 64, when i exited it did not go back to wii menu, just froze at a black screen, is this normal? the workaround fix worked for exiting wiiware but it seems not VC too, This was the first time playing VC from mighty channels so I'm just curious really.

(Warning don't try this if you don't know what you're doing)

Maybe someone could try this with the lost winds games and the others that don't work correctly at the moment.
Play and use the latest d2x cIOS (with debug on) installed at ios53 on real nand and save some log files.
(ios53 is what the Lost Winds games use, other games can use different ios but you can use the same method).

* One when it creates the first save.
* And one when you start the game with an already existing save for the game.
* And maybe one when you play the game to a new savepoint.


Then we could use these and compare with the emu nand logs

And of course once again don't forgett to switch back the ios afterwards

Are you sure it uses IOS53? LostWinds was released as one of the first WiiWare games back in 2008. IOS53 wasn't available in that moment. It should be IOS35 or 37.
