If someone could only make a decent UNEEK DI NTFS/WBFS mod with 100% WiiFlow support, that would be badass.
It'd be a godsend.
Well JoyFlow is already going in that direction and WBFS support is almost ready...

As for the Wiiflow comments...

I understand all the people worries and reactions, and offcourse it is lacking in updates..
I am afraid one developer left because he didnt have the time anymore...
1 dev. had a few strokes of bad luck and therefore did not had time also, but he still wants to bring out a full (working) wiiflow version ones he sorted out his private live...

I do however agree with NutNut that Wiiflow needs to work with the cIOS and not the other way around..

The comment of using Hackwiiflow is in my opinion a blow below the belt. People in the scene know what i mean.

And about the cover download problem with wiiflow, i tested this extensively, the problem only exists with the v4 beta versions with the EHCI module , if i substitute the module with a V3 one, Wiiflow download covers works, in rev 304 aswell in rev 346, even if you change the version number of the cIOS.

Licensing-wise, you obligated to release source with EVERY binary release, even if it was a closed beta release. I'm not going to whine and complain about it, so don't get mad or start raging at me, I'm just pointing that out. Part of the reason for that requirement is instances where you fix bugs from one beta release to the next but also introduce regressions/new bugs. It doesn't do anyone else any good to just see the final product's source, because they wouldn't be able to see where those bugs may have come from. I understand not wanting to release buggy or messy beta-quality code and saying you'll release it once it's stable/cleaned up, but in the end you're not doing anyone any good by waiting on releasing the source, and that's the reason the license requires you to release it.

Not really, much code has been written by other people ( Kwiirk, WiiGator, Hermes, neimod, David Brownell, ...) and licensed under the terms of the GPL.

I don't know why people bother with it.
Because it looks nice.

CFG looks much better nowadays.
And has FULL compatibilty with the latest D2X cios.
+ the new 3d/ gui looks awesome and is fully editeble.

Edit: The new D2X installer crashes upon trying to install beta 4

I just installed d2x v3 with base IOS56 as IOS249 and "found" an issue:
If i try to exit NeoGamma to HBC the Wii freezes, turns off the wiimotes and doesn't react anymore to power button pressing. The issue was introduced by Waninkoko's cIOS, but i forgot which one exactly introduced it.

Is there a good way to identify the cIOS by now? I think i missed some months of developement. If not, i would suggest adding a string with the info into the tmd's hash, like "d2x56v3" or "d2x56v4b42".

If I select "Exit NeoGamma" everything works like expected.
Can you please tell me all the steps to reproduce the issue?

Hmmm, I can plan this for d2x v5.
I'm almost ready to release v4 final.

Install d2x56v3
Start NeoGamma
Exit

Waninkoko couldn't reproduce this either, but with old cIOS it still works.

@WiiPower
Sorry, I can't reproduce the issue.

@jurai
Does the problem persist if you use a different hard drive or pen drive?
Also, did you try with d2x v3 final?

cIOSX d2x v4

Finally cIOS d2x v4 final has been released.
Source code is included inside the donwload package in the 1st post.
Also, a new section for developers with instructions to integrate the new features has been added in the 1st post.

Great work davebaol. You seem to be very skilled. By any chance, do you have any plans to work maybe with OverjoY on a UNEEK DI mod that supports wbfs files and NTFS partitions for games? Crediar definitely doesnt want to work on it, since it's requires " too much effort".

I'm begging You to make some kind of google code project page.
Extremely useful for bug tracking and code change history.

@WiiBricker
No, at the moment I plan to investigate ios reloading and usb loader support.
Also, there are still a few issues I'd like to fix in the cios before directing my attention elsewhere.

@mike333
Hmmm, I'll consider your proposal.

I just wanted to verify that the version of MC I was using wasn't the problem. And it did perturb me that there was no log file.
