so which slots should be installed (other than the obvious 249, 250)... and with what base? a point in the right direction would be much appreciated. Also, does the installer have the capability of installing different slots ie. 249, 250, 236, 2xx, etc...? or is another method required?

there is no point installing others since you cant use anything other then (222/223/224/249/250) with any of the loaders.....yet

yes the installer lets you chose the base ios then which slot you want to install it to....

thanks locoRoco... that makes sense. is there a general concensus on which base is best for 249 and 250?

MH3 works great with Rev20. I haven't noticed any difference between Rev19 and Rev20 while playing MH3 though....

Did we ever figure out the easter egg?
No, I've been looking at the code and I can't figure it out for sure and nobody will say one way or the other.

I have noticed that after installing Rev20, Hermes Cios 222 Installer does not work..I get the hash bad message!

Also I tried installing Base 37 to Cios 250 but my MH3 still does not work! I can get it working if I use base 37 with 249!

Since it's rev20 related, I'm cross-posting this also here:

cfg v58a (alpha)

(or online update)
Changes:

cfg v58a (alpha)
* Support multiple slots for Waninkoko's cios rev20: 247, 248, 249, 250
Changed option: ios = 247, 248, [249], 222-mload, 223-mload,
224-mload, 222-yal, 223-yal, 250

I know cios rev20 supports slots in the range 200-250, but adding just a few to cfg is a trivial change, while adding a whole range will be more work, so for now only 247-250 are supported for waninkoko's cios rev20. In the future we might rewrite ios slot handling and support a wider range, but for now i think these added slots will suffice.

Seems like alot of games have been loading great for me (4.1u using cIOSX rev 20 on IOS249[57] and IOS250[37]) such as The Conduit (connects online with no lag) and MH3, but I STILL can't get Guitar Hero 5 to work with my SDHC card.

Any suggestions?

This might be off topic, but I tried updating my Priiloader to the latest Beta 5 to work with the new HBC. I usually install using IOS249, but ever since this update, I haven't been able to update it online.

Something I should just wait for the Priiloader crew to resolve?

HBC 1.0.7 Can't read from USB apperently :/ it did for a second.launched the app, returned to the HBC, and now its not reading my Usbhd any more..wtf.

I'm having the same issue. Every time I press 2 and I try to choose USB, it just gets blocked. Anyone has any idea?

I wonder if thats the 'extra' feature that will reveal itself in the new hackmii/HBC 1.0.7, that wasmentioned? I hope not, but if so, I am glad I didn't install it yet .. :/

Not tried cIOSx rev20b yet, as rev19 works fine for anything I throw at it, so unless it offers me something new that is relevant to the games I play I probably will keep my Wii as it is.. Either way, thanks for the hard work waninkoko.. :>

P.s. Anyone found out what the easter egg is in Rev20(b) yet ?

I don't know what Waninkoko changed, because previous betas worked perfectly.

MH3 with 56 base??? This is possible?
Could it be that 56 base is even better then 57 base?
Or is it slower then 57 base?

Can't be too sure of it, but here I go.

Easter egg:
1) Timer starts
2) Checks GPIO, if clean, starts EPIC_TRIGGER
3) Led Blinks, 5 seconds black screen
4) DVD drive resets, 5 seconds black screen
5) Does some ES stuff, which seem to actually send a 0x1337 command to the drive

Since the entire ES stuff doesn't return a single thing, I dunno what it serves to. Maybe it displays something on-screen?

I wonder what the drive would respond to a 0x1337 command. I might have missed something though, as I haven't seen the entire code, but only skimmed it on GIT

Could the easter egg be also that I don't have to use Hermes v4 To load from .WBFS files in FAT32?!
Because is working with every game im launching :D
You never needed to use hermes to load .wbfs files from a FAT partition before (unless you had an outdated cios 249 installed)

QUOTE(sorgelig @ Aug 1 2010, 01:24 AM) With wode i have 100% USB loading without any mess
How is that GC Audio Streaming going with your wode?

I'd rather have a proper Wii drivechip for GC games and SNEEK with decrypted games or USB loader with cIOS or for playing Wii games.

In the first instance everyhting everything works 100% (unlike WODE), and if you use a USB loader/cIOS instead of SNEEK the only thing you are missing is IOS reloading (which with alt.dol isn't a big deal - certainly less of a deal than missing audio streams).

Yeah... I saw that too, but I did not fully understand it.

I also found this in the ES-Plugin source, in plugin.c:
http://github.com/waninkoko/es-plugin/blob...91d9db/plugin.c

s32 __ES_Ioctlv(ipcmessage *message)
{
ioctlv *vector = message->ioctlv.vector;
u32 inlen = message->ioctlv.num_in;
u32 iolen = message->ioctlv.num_io;
u32 cmd = message->ioctlv.command;

/* Parse command */
switch (cmd) {
case IOCTL_ES_LAUNCH: {
u64 tid = *(u64 *)vector[0].data;

u32 tidh = (u32)(tid >> 32);
u32 tidl = (u32)(tid & 0xFFFFFFFF);

/* IOS title launch */
if (tidh == 1 &&
(tidl >= 3 && tidl
