Homebrew Cheats not working TwilightMenu++

I am using the usrcheats.dat file from DeadSkullzJr's cheats database on the TwilightMenu++ inside the folder sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/cheats folder and no cheats show up for any of my games.

IIRC usrcheats.dat goes to: sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/extras

It shows the cheats and let's me select them, but after I launched the game, I got a white screen. I'm running a new 2DS XL with Luma3DS

Also Note: It worked before I installed the usrcheats.dat file in the directory and even breaks when there are no cheats activated for the game.

Bump this, I have a similar issue with Pokemon Heartgold. I have just two cheats enabled in the cheat menu in TWLMenu, (Max Money and Widescreen), and neither work. Just using those two for testing because they are easy to test.Using same setup as @BlueJ , Luma and TWLMenu with usrcheat.dat in the extras folder. The cheats are just not applying for some reason.

I used the updater to download cheats. when I activate any cheats for Pokemon Black or Pokemon Black 2 I just get a white screen that freezes and never gets to where it says nds-bootstrap. I've also tried cheats for Monster Rancher DS and that game loads but the cheats don't work.
I'm on the latest releases of everything according to the updater and running this on a new 3ds XL.

The Cheats for Pokemon Black 2 (and for other games like Mario Kart DS too) are not working correctly in TWiLight actual.

For example the Battle Codes causes your issue.
The Money code alone for example should work.

I need help with this as well. So far the shiny cheat worked, but some money cheats don’t work… I think I read something about save files over riding the cheat but I could be wrong. I hope someone finds a way to make max money cheats on existing saves.
