Hi everyone! I’ve always felt that the Nintendo DS is criminally underrated when it comes to being a dedicated manga-reader. Think about it: it has two screens built right into the form factor, one of them has a precise (not quite most of the time though) touchscreen, and when you rotate the console 90 degrees counter-clockwise, it perfectly mimics the ergonomics of holding a real physical tankobon (manga volume). When held vertically, the D-pad sits perfectly on the bottom, and the shoulder keys (L/R) are in the ideal position for switching chapters. Plus, the touchscreen can be used to magnify for reading the text or inspecting details. Such interactions are the ultimate form factors that modern smartphones just can't match. To prove this, I built ds_mangaman — an open-source, highly optimized homebrew manga viewer for the NDS/NDSL. NSMBCE - New Super Mario Bros Cheat Engine DISCLAIMER (ONLY WORKS WITH DSPICO)

I have played a lot of New Super Mario Bros and created a cheats system using Pico Launcher's integrated cheat engine - Infinite lives, invincibility, super high jumps, Invisible Mario, and much more. Just press Y when playing NSMB in Pico Launcher and use all the cheats at once.

To help other users easily utilize the cheats, I've made a cross-platform installer which will automatically detect your SD card and copy all the needed files to it.

How to use it:

Download the archive from GitHub: https://github.com/ICodeforfun-eng/NSMBCE?tab=readme-ov-file

Extract it, you'll find several files used by the installer

Run it for your operating system:

Windows: install.bat

Mac: install.command

Linux: install.sh

The installer will automatically detect your SD card, save all your current cheats, and copy the files to it

Boot up the emulator, go to New Super Mario Bros, press Y, and select your cheats!
