With heap the cheats you found are diffrent after certaing stage they dont remain lock , you need pointers for that . For my knloedge is hard to find .Been trying to use the SX cheat code tool to turn these into cheats but nothing has worked so far. Would really love some help here if anyone can figure this out.

It wiuld be diffrent if you have used SxOs for life search in lest say New super mario u deluxe , the resulf would of been Main , instead of Heap . And a Mains result worls amost always for everybody
Updates usually break every code, but in my experience a lot of stuff is just shifted by a certain amount in memory. One method for manually porting codes is to go to the final address of a working code in a valid dump, find some kind of marker (such as a unique string of text, or a few lines of unique/static values from the dump). Search those in a new dump, and you'll find the new offset. Works with pointers too, just don't go to the final address, usually only the base address will need to be updated, while all of the rest stays the same. Not sure how this works with the Switch though, but this works on every other console/game for the most part. It should be pretty similiar, you might need to use NoExes Dump Parser to convert between file offset and game offset: https://gbatemp.net/threads/noexes-ram-dump-parser.564050/Alright well I am very new to this and while I know how to use the search function to edit numbers in game I know nothing beyond that. So if pointers are required and those are hard is dead cells cheats just dead at this point if that's too hard? Annoying that updates for every game seem to break almost all cheats.
