Gaming Changing USB Device doesn't work anymore?

Okay, I've tried this two different ways. I'm using Prome-2, and in the XMB I've tried to change the USB Device to UMD Disc. I then go over to USB Connection, and it loads the Memory Stick.

I tried changing it in the recovery menu too, and the same results.

I've done this before, because I was able to get the background image out of Birth By Sleep. Now it won't work. >.<

Why would this happen, and can I fix it?

If you've changed it in both Recovery menu and VSH, and tried with all your VSH plugins disabled, then best suggestion would be reflash your firmware or to try an alternative firmware...M33 or GEN.

I didn't try with plugins disabled. (I'm pretty sure that I initially did this before I started using any plugins. Sounds right anyway.) Lemme go try it out.

EDIT: Worked! Thanks. I'll remember that next time I run into any issue that isn't plugin related.
