Long story short, I wanted an Elekid in an Ultra Ball for my Diamond playthrough. Turns out that's impossible unless I beat the game so I found a complete Diamond save and caught one there, used pokegen to change the trainer ID/secret ID to my own. The game detects the Elekid as mine so far so good.
Once I'm done, I plan on transferring it up to Home so I don't want it to get left behind for being illegitimate. Do I need to tweak the PID too for Bank/Home to recognize it as legit? Or is it fine the way it is?
